COMMUNITY ADVISORY COMMITTEES
Health Issues Centre’s is funded by the Victorian Department of Human Services (DHS) to support the development of Community Advisory Committee (CACs) in 14 Metropolitan Health Services and five regional health services. As part of this project, Health Issues Centre delivers a number of strategies for CAC support staff which include Resources Officers, Executive Managers, CAC chairs and CAC consumer members.
Resource Officers' Network
This Network meets six times a year and provides Resource Officers with a forum for networking, problem solving, and discussion.

Community Advisory Committees
Health Issues Centre provides one on one support to individual Community Advisory Committees. This includes training, resources and orientation programs for new CAC members. HIC also delivers a biannual CAC conference for CAC consumers and staff.
